Kenya’s Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has blamed Tuesday’s “Occupy Parliament” protestors for the injuries suffered by a police officer during the anti Finance Bill protests.
CS Alfred Mutua made these remarks in Narok during the launch of the National Wildlife Census.
According to reports, the police officer detonated a teargas canister and delayed releasing it, causing it to explode in his hands severely injuring him and causing him to lose both his forearms.
The Tourism CS further pledged to donate Ksh.1 million to help the cop and his family.
